Synopsis

For some time, Luo Xiaohei has been honing his powers under the tutelage of Wuxian, one of the few humans with enough spiritual power to be employed by the Guild as an executor. However, their idyllic days come to a halt when Wuxian receives a summons to come before the Guild elders. They reveal that humans massacred all the spirits at a remote Guild branch, and Wuxian is the prime suspect. With his master in custody, Xiaohei accompanies Luye—a previous disciple of Wuxian—as she conducts an independent investigation.
